Rinex GPS-TEC program Version 1.45

This application is useful in deriving the GPS-TEC data from the rinex files...
PS.  As the files are shared to all, the files are zip files are now password protected to avoid any virus.. write an email to me to receive the code to unzip the files..

You can download the program in the following two ways..  (List of all files)
In this Version, added support to SCINDA (.SCN file) ascii files..   now you can analyse and see plots of VTEC (S4 index is written in data file *.cmn)

(a) The .scn files of a day (ex: usually 24 files) should unzipped or decompressed to a folder or in the same directory as the original .gz zip files..  then take one .scn file as input for the program.
(b) There should be atleast one .psn file in the directory.
(c) Ouput files will look like  SCNDddd-yyy-mm-dd*.* (ddd -day of year, etc)
To download follow these steps...

1) Download the following GPS_Gopi.exe to your PC or laptop
GPS_Gopi.EXE
2) Run the file GPS_Gopi.exe to extract the files, browse the path where you want to extract, for example to your desktop
-------------- OR ----------------
1) Download the following GPS_Gopi.ZIP file to your PC or Laptop
2) Unzip the files into a directory (say folder "GPS_Gopi")
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In case on executing the program you encounter an error
This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling application may fix this problem.
Then you should also download the following support files and extract them into the same program folder (for example "GPS_Gopi" the default folder), you should see 5 folders (obviously with few dll files inside) extracted with names "Microsoft.VC80.*" etc.
Support_Files.ZIP
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

3)  Please follow the instructions from the "GPS_TEC Readme.pdf"  document which is also inside the either of the zip archives!

4) You can leave a comments here or email me..  if you have any questions..

Known issues with this program..
(1) will not be able to calculate the biases properly for the high latitude stations
(2) Cycle slips are not perfect in couple of cases, which some times resulting in bad bias corrections
You should be able to notice the above two things as soon as you see the plot drawn by the program..
These two will be corrected in the following updated version (I hope).
(3) Ability to show S4 index on plots will be added soon.. and I will let you know by email.. or check this web page for updates!

Thank you,
Gopi

PS.  As the files are shared to all, the files are zip files are now password protected to avoid any virus.. write an email to me to receive the code to unzip the files..
